AcceptanceThe third element to making a contract valid is acceptance. For a contract to be valid the party the offer is being made to must not only accept the offer itself but as well as any terms and conditions associated with that offer. The acceptance must be clearly communicated between parties, a simple nod nor using someone else to relay a the acceptance for you is not acceptable. Once an offer has been accepted it cannot be revoked and all terms and conditions must be followed, only under the consent of the person making the offer can you revoke an offer. Although before accepting any offers a counter offer can be made but the counter offer will only be effective if accepted by both parties. (Green, 2013)
